Communication with Jimmy throughout your dog’s board & Train:
All communication pertaining to your dog's training shall be conducted exclusively via email. Should you require any assistance or have any inquiries, we kindly request that you reach out to Jimmy at — Training@TheCraftyPup.com
If you happen to shoot us an email outside of our regular business hours we'll make sure to get back to you the following day.
If you happen to shoot us an email on a Saturday or Sunday, your inquiry will be responded to on Monday.
When will I receive updates on my dog’s training?
As part of your dog's training, you will receive updates throughout the week. Expect to receive updates Wednesday and Friday of each week.
Updates are typically sent late afternoon or early evening.
To streamline the process, we'll send you pictures and videos of your dog's training via text message, providing you with convenient and visual updates of your pup throughout training. However, please note that Jimmy's texts are not continuously monitored. Therefore, if your question or inquiry requires a response, we kindly ask that you reach out to him via email to ensure your message is received — Training@TheCraftyPup.com
Am I Allowed to visit my dog?
The primary goal is to keep the dog separate from their owners until the training is complete. This strategy helps maintain focus and facilitates a dedicated learning environment for the dog. Therefore, kindly note that visitations during the training period are not permitted, as they can potentially impede the training progress. Our commitment is to deliver the most effective and comprehensive training experience for your dog.
What is included in the program?
You will be given at no additional cost all necessary training equipment.
A handmade custom leather leash
A custom easy on/off training collar
A short tab - to be used in the house and for off leash training
How do the private lessons work at the end of training?
Typically, we schedule two meetings as part of our process before the dog goes home.
The first meeting takes place before your dog goes home (often times the day before dog goes home), allowing us to discuss important details and address any specific concerns you may have. This initial meeting helps us establish a solid foundation and lets us answer any questions you may have as well as show you the basics that your dog has been taught.
The second meeting occurs on the day your dog goes home, where we provide you with a comprehensive overview of the training and demonstrate the progress made. This meeting allows you a chance to work your dog with Jimmy’s guidance which ensures that you learn how to properly handle your newly trained dog.
This second lesson is designed to show you the more advanced commands as well as gives you a chance to handle the dog with professional expert guidance each step of the way.
For further guidance and to ensure continued success, we recommend scheduling your follow-up lesson within 1-2 weeks of your dog returning home. This session is designed to address any problems (if any) your dog is exhibiting once home for awhile. This third lesson can be at my facility, in public and or at your home. It is specifically designed to let your dog settle back into your home and then work on whatever we deem needs additional attention.
It's important to note that the follow-up lesson must be scheduled and utilized within 4 weeks of the day your dog returns home. In the past people would wait months or even as long as a year before scheduling their follow up lesson. If the follow-up lesson is not scheduled and utilized within this designated 4-week period, it will no longer be valid.

Once you have utilized all the scheduled lessons or if they have expired, we offer the option to purchase additional lessons at a discounted rate exclusively available to our valued previous clients.
