I have you covered! I have been training dogs my entire life. You can learn more about myself in the “about me” section but I will do a short introduction. I am the 3rd generation in the family to be training dogs serving the North shore of Chicago! My grandparents having been serving the glenview north shore Chicago land area since 1961 and the rest is history. Training dogs all started at my family’s dog kennel which is located in Glenview, Illinois, Carriage Hill Kennels!
I ran the dog training program there for years and one day I decided no longer enjoyed training tons of dogs daily! I wanted to do something a little different. So here I am!
The Crafty Pup Dog Training started off solely as an online dog training business where I offer online video training courses educating you on how to train your own dog. It has since evolved into an online dog training business as well as a physical that is based out of glenview but serves all of the north shore as well as the Chicagoland area!
Now I am shifting my focus to training dogs with the emphasis of customizing it to your lifestyle. I still put a strong emphasis on the basics while maintaining an approach that suites your life.
Your pup will be trained in variety of settings. I begin training each dog at my facility before taking the dog into public where they will be trained around people & dogs.
Throughout the day I will train your dog and your pup will board overnight at my family’s state of the art facility in Glenview, IL. I will train your dog at different local parks & trails, my mentor’s dog training facility and if you live near by I may ask to come by your house to train your dog! This allows me to customize each dog to their owners needs.
Most dog training kennels only train dogs at their facility which makes it harder for your dog’s progress to transfer to YOU inside YOUR HOME! I focus on training your dog in a variety of environments with the ultimate goal for your dog to be obedient where ever you are!

How Does This Program Work?
You drop your dog off with me to be trained for whatever length we decide on. I offer three different options for dogs I have not trained.
For new clients, I have a 2 week minimum.

This program also lets me work with you more! We will meet before your dog even goes home and if you live near Glenview I will come train your dog in your home. If it is okay with you I will come by while you and your family are eating dinner! I will be there just to make your dog lay down while you eat or while you hang in the backyard on a nice summer evening. My main goal is to provide you with the best trained dog in the neighbor!

Deposit Policy:
In the event that you need to cancel your training reservation, please take note of the following refund policy:
If you decide to cancel two weeks in advance of your scheduled drop-off date, I will gladly refund 50% of your deposit.
Should you cancel one week ahead of your scheduled drop-off date, I will be able to refund 25% of your deposit.
We regret to inform you that in the event of a reservation cancellation within a 48-hour timeframe, a refund will not be possible. This policy is in place due to the limited capacity of our training facility, where bookings are made well in advance and require deposits to secure your dog's spot. Unfortunately, the short notice of cancellation makes it challenging for us to fill the vacant training position. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy.
