I have you covered! I have been training dogs my entire life. You can learn more about myself in the “about me” section but I will do a short introduction. I am the 3rd generation in the family to be training dogs serving the North shore of Chicago! My grandparents having been serving the glenview north shore Chicago land area since 1961 and the rest is history. Training dogs all started at my family’s dog kennel which is located in Glenview, Illinois, Carriage Hill Kennels!
I trained dogs there for years and one day I decided no longer enjoyed training tons of dogs everyday! I wanted to do something a little different. So here I am!
The Crafty Pup started off solely as an online dog training business offering online video courses. It has since evolved into an online dog training business as well as a physical that is based out of glenview but serves all of the north shore as well as the Chicagoland area!
Now I am shifting my focus to training dogs with a different approach. The twist is your dog will be living in my own house with my dog Yeti and I! Your dog will be treated just as he is my dog! This allows the dog and myself to build a much stronger bond throughout the training process. I can get a lot more done since your dog and I will become best buds for however long I train him for!
Your pup will be trained everyday and in a wide variety of settings. I will still be training the dog’s that live with me at my family’s kennel. I will train your dog at different local parks, my mentor’s dog training facility, inside my house and if you live near by I will ask to come by your house to train your dog! This allows me to accomplish so much and training a dog in a variety of settings is so beneficial!
Most dog training kennels only train dogs at their facility which makes it harder for your dog’s progress to transfer to YOU inside YOUR HOME! When your dog stays with me I will be training your dog in my home. Your dog will be taught to stay while I eat dinner and work on my computer! I even teach puppies to stay while I shower!

How Long Does The Program Last?
This program lasts three weeks M-F. A total of 15 days of training.
If I have trained your dog in the past or your dog has been trained else where and after our evaluation I deem your dog has a solid understanding of the basics then I allow an exception for a shorter training period.
How Does This Program Work?
Designed like school your dog is dropped off and picked up daily giving your furry friend the intensive training program a board and train offers without leaving your dog overnight.
Your dog can be dropped off for as little as 2 hours or if your schedule does not allow for that I can keep your pup longer.
